The Best Way to Enjoy Gardening

The Best Way to Enjoy Gardening
It is that time of the year. The flowers are in bloom. Tree leaves are growing to their full color spectrum. Some fruits and vegetables are starting to sprout. Springtime is here, and it is time to put together your garden. Here are some suggestions to help people with their gardens.

Plan
There is an old saying; if you fail to plan, you will plan to fail. That statement cannot be truer than in your garden. You can plan the type of plants you want in your garden. You also can plan the spacing you need for the plants that you want to grow.

Try something new
New plants can make your garden interesting. Try planting something new, something that you have always wanted to try to grow but were afraid to grow. It does not matter if the plant grows or not, it only matters that you tried something different.

Rotate
Do not plan any of your plants in the same place as you did as the year before. The plants will take nutrients from the ground and some of the plants can add nutrients into the ground. By rotating plants around, you can keep the ground healthy naturally.

Do not be afraid to use starter plants
Starter plants are a great way to get some plants to grow that you cannot grow from seed. Sometimes you can make your own starters by putting the seed in a small amount of dirt in an empty egg carton and let it grow on your windowsill or green house. In a couple of weeks you will have a strong plant ready to plant into your garden.

Have fun
Make mud pies, run through the sprinkler, and enjoy getting dirty. Although there is some work involved, you will be able to enjoy the fruits of your labor literally.
The most fun you can have is in the springtime. Once the rains have stopped and the flowers start to bloom, you can sit in your yard and enjoy your garden.
